 EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT


Background:


Currently, Emotional Development   is a theme very interesting, is a new theory about the development of the children in the initial education.  In Chile and in Pre-School education is a new very recently that since educator talks about emotionality in the boys and girls. This theory is presented for different authors, some of them: Neva Milicic  (2001), in ‘‘Creo en tí’’; Beaty, J.J (2010) in, ‘‘Observing Development of Young child’’, both they are text that work about emotional Development.

Without a doubt is one theory and parading very important those know as future educators and teacher but not only in the educative field it’s just that also other people, for example: the family in general. In different place of our county is one theme discus which means that is very important in the educative field.

Problem:

According to previous, the Emotional Development is one the most discus in pre-school education because is new in the educative field, that promote a new paradigm of positioning of the emotions that remove to the paradigm predominate of positivism; where the children are educated according to the adult and not according to their own development.

That is the reason why is a problematic very important in the educative field given that challenge educator to see education and children from other perspectives.
For the other hand, this theory brings along with you   many concepts very important for the emotionally development of the children in the first year of the life. 

For example: ‘‘Self-Steem’’, ‘‘Auto-concept’’, ‘‘Confidence’’, ‘‘Attachment’’; in the others.  This topic also is a problematic because many educators not manipulates this concept.

Proposed Solution:

In the educative field they solution can be many because there not only one truth but it also important to be able to position oneself in divorces educational context. For me in the first place as I mentioned before it is necessary to be able to know different educative context because it is relevant to know the diversity of educational centers and educative curriculum that exist today in our country.

In the second place, is necessary that as student of the career make different project for to be able to contribute to the change. That is, as students to be able to investigate in the first instance an educative center about the knowledge of this theory and the importance that it attributes to the emotional development of the children. Later, in view of this, it is possible to plan actions in the context of that educative center.
In the third place and within the framework of this project, it is necessary to be able to give to the staff of kindergartens various strategies on how to deal with emotional development in children in early childhood.

Vygorksy in his Socioconstructivist Theory exposes a vital importance to social interactions; of which are these which allows learning to be more meaningful and internalized in children.

This is also how emotional development attributes between one of its main concepts the link and the interaction between people. For this reason, it is necessary as a strategy within the classroom to generate environments of dialogue and reflection between children and the educator.

It is urgent to be able to address broad issues about the development of children, although it is true that this theory is not fully investigated but it is necessary to put it into practice and investigate more about it. Not only the people who exercise now but also as future nursery teachers.

    I think you need to work on the context to make it more academic and focused. Lets talk about it tomorrow. You also need to be a bit more productive so you can make more progress :)
